もうすぐ２月２３日は富士山の日であり、天皇誕生日でもあります。
なんておめでたい日なんでしょう。天皇陛下も200８年に富士登山にきたことがあります。
その日のことは私はつい昨日のことのように覚えています。
200８年天皇陛下が登って登山道を今はプリンスルートと言っています。
登山した時は皇太子時代なのでそういうふうに言っています。
でも本当はエンペラールートと言わないといけないかもしれません。
今もプリンスルートから登ってくる登山者は多いです。特に富士宮口から登ってきて
御殿場口の山頂からプリンスルートで下山する方も多いです。

再過不久，2月23日就是「富士山之日」，同時也是天皇誕生日。
真是一個多麼值得慶祝的日子啊。
天皇陛下也曾於2008年登上富士山。
那一天的情景，我至今仍然記憶猶新，彷彿就在昨天。
2008年時，天皇陛下從登山道登頂，如今那條路被稱為「Prince Route（王子路線）」。
當時還是皇太子時代，所以才會這樣稱呼。
不過，也許現在應該稱為「Emperor Route（天皇路線）」才更貼切。
直到現在，仍然有許多登山者選擇從 Prince Route 上山。
特別是從富士宮口登山，
再從御殿場口山頂經由 Prince Route 下山的人也不少。
其實這是一條相當推薦的路線。

His Majesty the Emperor climbed Mt. Fuji in 2008.
I still remember that day as if it were yesterday.
In 2008, he ascended via the route that is now called the “Prince Route.”
At that time, he was Crown Prince, which is why it received that name.
Perhaps now, it could even be called the “Emperor Route.”
Even today, many climbers choose to ascend via the Prince Route.
It is especially popular to climb up from the Fujinomiya Trail,
and descend from the Gotemba summit area via the Prince Route.
It is actually a highly recommended course.
